Signs of Spring

What's It Wednesday #155
Today I bought myself some gorgeous pink tulips, a sure sign that spring is just around the corner. I had this cute little bunny vase which was begging for some flowers. I think he's gotten caught nibbling, cheeky bunny!

I found him a little friend to share the bounty. Proving once again, blue and white goes with everything.

Spring brings nests filled with eggs that soon hatch...

to fill the air with song. What signs of spring are popping up at your home?
Hugs,
Patti

Over the Moon

What's It Wednesday #154

Have you ever been so excited about something you are practically bursting at the seams? Well that's me right now. I couldn't wait to share these fabulous wreaths with you all.

These "a-door-able" wreaths were made by my friend Christine. I just love the gorgeous array of colors and textures that are available for all seasons and occasions.

I just found out that one of my colleagues and one of my cousins are both expecting this year. This wreath would be the perfect gift for both families. I cannot wait to find out if they are having a boy or a girl.

I just love that you can dress up any door, wall, or window with a beautiful wreath. There is a decorative piece for every season and every reason. Sports enthusiasts, eat your heart out.

Wreaths use to be displayed mostly during the autumn and winter holiday season. Now-a-days, they are seen all year 'round. By the way, St. Patty's Day is right around the corner. Imagine this beauty on your door!

Each wreath is artfully arranged. From beautiful buds and blooms to ribbons and themed embellishments. These Easter wreaths would be fabulous on your little one's bedroom door.

The Crafty Moons' wreaths  complement any style of decor and add beauty to any home.

What a great way to welcome spring then right on your front door. Aren't the festive details in each piece fun?

Wouldn't this wreath make an amazing center or mantel piece?

The Crafty Moons
The best news of all is that you can order your very on wreath from Christine by visiting The Crafty Moons (Click the link). Each wreath is hand made and made from love. You too will be over the moon with these wreaths.

Looking for Love

What's It Wednesday #153
Here it is just four days until Valentine’s Day and I’m ashamed to say I’ve done no decorating. I started wandering the house to see what I could pull together quickly. Nada. Saddened, I started to wash a few dishes in the sink, and it hit me.

I love this planter that hangs on the side of the cabinet. The ornate design is what drew me to this piece. Notice the top. Hearts, the symbol of love. Here was my theme, and I decided to run with it.

I have this great old mirror in the entry with another heart shaped hanger. Add a loving couple, a candle, and a pretty pink wreath and I call it done!

I remembered a lace heart that I have in an old metal frame.

It is striking paired with my new “old” scale and iron stone pitcher I found. Things were starting to come together.

Why there’s even a big proclamation on my porch for all to see. A double heart glider and two cherubs with a planter filled with…

heart shaped leaves!

There in the family room, how could I have missed it? A wire balloon shaped birdcage, made with a heart pattern.

I added this sweet angel holding, what else? Three carved wooden hearts!

Can’t you just see the love in this vignette?

No… really!? Can you see LOVE?

It’s right there in this pretty wire heart given to me by Carol over at Art and Sand, just because I liked it. She’s such a sweetie! Isn't that perfect for Valentine's Day? I guess I don't need to search any further, love is already here!
Hugs,
Patti
