What's It Wednesday #99
The other day I was out shopping and antiquing (of course) with some very dear friends when I came across this beautiful coffee carafe.
She was absolutely calling my name. There was no way I could leave her in the antique store.
So I did the only logical thing a girl in my situation could do and that was to bring her home and invite the girls over for lunch followed by coffee and cake. I figured this would be a great way to celebrate fall.
She had all the bells and whistles I love in a vintage piece. Her sleek silver frame with all the pretty detail is what drew me to her in the first place. When I found out she tilts, well you know I went completely gaga. The fact that she is functional and wont collect dust made her even more attractive.
A glass votive candle sits in the bottom of the stand to keep the fresh coffee warm. The girls and I just loved that little detail. She is quite tall and measures about 15 inches in height.
Being that it was a cool, wet and rainy fall afternoon, serving coffee from her was the perfect way to end our wet shopping day.
This little lady was a hit during our little lunch and coffee break. The Blue Mountain coffee from Jamaica was the perfect accompaniment with dessert.
There is nothing like a little fall inspired dessert to balance out our much deserved coffee break.
What is your favorite fall dessert?
xoxoxo
