What's It Wednesday #130
A
couple of weeks ago I asked for your help in choosing between a white
frame or gold with my fork and spoon. Most preferred the white, but
one person commented that they liked silver above gold. Hmm...
That
gave me an idea, what about using a “silver tray”, spray it with
black chalk paint and add a “silver” spoon and fork?
I
love the detail on this set! I was pleased with the result, but the
wall seemed bare and needed something else.
I
had these two small trays that are very similar, so I frog taped and
sprayed them as well. What to say about a spoon and fork? “Let's
Eat!”
For
about twelve dollars and some chalk paint I have a sweet wall
vignette. Now that's what I call tray chic!
Hugs,
Patti
P/S
Oh I had to show you how I tweaked the fork and spoon. It has a little cartouche that I painted black and added initials.
What else? F and S for fork and spoon. Hope you're having fun with your utensils too!
Thanks to all of you who partied with us last week. Please link-up and join us again. Remember, it's not a party without you!

Chalkboard trays are one of the things I enjoy making for bridal shower gifts, along with some chalk. A previous post of mine was about a large tray I did for my friend.
