What's
It Wednesday #132
I
just couldn't wait to share my new tablescape with you. I call them
gazing balls, because I just love staring at the little scenes
inside. They were such fun to make.
It
all started with this bag-o-junk. Stuff I think is cool or I promise
I'm going to use. Hmm, as you can see there's a lot of broken
promises there.
I
selected these pieces as I wanted to use the three fish bowls. They
were bought to make a Christmas snowman, but that was three Christmases
ago! So I got the idea of a gazing ball in my head.
I
cut up this old wire ornament because it had the perfect star for a
wand.
And
this angel had the perfect set of wings that were easy to detach.
VoilĂ !
A fairy glen under glass.
With a pretty lid and golden stand, it was just what I'd envisioned.
Next
was an angel's nest.
A
pair of wings, a golden halo, and a scroll of music.
Last,
a tranquil butterfly garden with two butterflies cut from sheet
music.
So my inspirational bag-o-junk yielded three fun gazing balls, and a new tablescape. Now isn't that more interesting than a snowman?

ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday! Lou Lou Girls
Oh Patti, I want to make one, well more then one because they really look great in a grouping, they tell a much bigger story here in what you have created. I think I might have enough salvage pieces to put one together minus the fish bowl, perhaps I can find something that will work.
ReplyDeleteIndeed they are gazing balls of beauty looking right back at you.
This is the best post I have seen in awhile, I just have to come up with a theme here in what I would want to gaze at.
See you soon beautiful.
