What's It Wednesday #139
I truly believe that one of the best parts of being a mother is when I am helping to create fond memories for and with my darling little pumpkins. This starts with annual traditions. Every year we head over to our local pumpkin patch for a day of fun.
The kids get a big kick out of playing in the wild corn.
They absolutely love petting the farm animals. My daughter adores the ducks, rabbits and turkeys.
My Little Pumpkins would ride the horses all day long if I let them.
They look forward to shopping for their Pumpkin Patch outfits.
I too get to enjoy fond Fall memories as well. My Little Pumpkins make Fall memories a whole lot of fun.
What memories and traditions do/did you have for your Little Pumpkins?

ReplyDeleteHi Paula!
ReplyDeleteYour sweeties are so adorable! I fondly remember our outings with our 2 sons in the fall. Our favorite thing was picking Pippin apples near a small town and bringing home a bushel of apples to cook with. That weekend was filled with making apple pies to freeze and making apple butter that was out of this world! We even had to buy an apple peeler to help with the process!! Of course their favorite part was EATING the rewards.
Hope your fall with sweeties is extra special this year!
Blessings to you and yours, Edie Marie
What a lovely tradition. It's a pleasure to be linking up this week - but oh my, I have spent waaay to much time visiting !!!!
ReplyDeleteYour little pumpkins are getting so big. My favorite Halloween memory is the kids trick or treating in the neighborhood. We lived on 5 acre lots, so a neighbor would hook up a wagon to haul everyone. When we got to our house, I would hop off the wagon with the kids and hand out our treats. Then we would all get back on the wagon and head to the next house.
ReplyDeletePaula, the pictures of your little pumpkins are wonderful. They look as if they are growing by leaps and bounds and more beautiful all the time! What a fun time the pumpkin patch must have been. Fall is my favorite season and you appear to be enjoying this beautiful and fun time with your little ones. Thanks for sharing the sweet photos and also for hosting the party which always provides lots of beautiful and inspiring ideas!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, your kids will always remember that day and someday tell their children and grandchildren about how you took them for some fun. They dressed great for the occassion and wonderful pictures...you are blessed.
ReplyDeleteThank for the party. hHve a nice weekend. Tina

ReplyDeleteAwe your two little pumpkins are just beautiful!!!!!!! I agree that memories are a big part of life - and I see that you are making some wonderful ones. I love this time of year.
ReplyDeleteAren't your pumpkins darling!? Love the hair accessory, so cute and festive. We do the same; we go to a popular local patch...my favorite traditional outing, though, is when drive up to the apple orchards to pick apples. The best part is the wonderful homemade cider....it almost always never makes it home. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting and sharing!

I'm so happy these kids found you. And you found them. And that all the love and dedication are making them lovelier by the day and more enchanting. They were so beautiful but they're growing with that special glow that only Love and Happiness gives.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have this tradition, or costume... in fact, I think if I approached a farm saying "I want to see your pumpkins" he'd be calling the police in 2 minutes tops ahahahah
So it's great to enjoy through your love for it and with such perfect models.
Thank you! God Bless,
Teresa
