What's It Wednesday #172
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
I found this ornate mirror at an Antique shop. I couldn't resist it because it was a perfect compliment to the Jewelry Book from India.
Mirror, Mirror on the Vanity
Antique mirrored vanity trays add just the right touch.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
This faux mirrored window balances the real window on the other side of the bed.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
A vintage mirror, from India, greets you as you enter the guest bathroom.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
Before leaving the house, you can primp once more in this ebony mirror, also from India. Of course you know I fell in love with the elephants.
Mirror, Mirror on the Buffet
A silver mirrored buffet tray adds elegance to my kid's sweets stand.
Mirror, Mirror on the Buffet
When you can't find a mirrored buffet tray, an antique mirrored vanity tray will do just fine.
Please share with us your favorite ways to decorate with mirrors!

You have some beautiful mirrors. I love mirrors. I only have them on the walls right now. But there is a mirror in every room except the kitchen. I love the way you have yours displayed. Thanks for the party.

You have so many beautiful mirrors! I would love to visit your house and look around. A few years ago I bought a mirror surrounded by seashells. A few shells were missing and it had a deep scratch in the center. I brought it home for $3, glued more shells on and I'm using it as a tray with a shell box on top of it. It's one of my favorite things in the lanai! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting and congrats on your wonderful collection of mirrors. Have a nice weekend. Tina
ReplyDeleteI love your wonderful collection of mirrors. I like them in rooms because they make the light bounce around which makes for more cheerful spaces. :D I love the first one. It looks like it came from India!

I love mirrors and you have some pretty ones! You can never go wrong with them.
ReplyDeleteI have a thing for mirrors to deary, :)
ReplyDeleteYou know the dark shutter morrow in your bathroom? I had one as well, I much later turned it into a picture fram tearing off the shutters and the filigreed arch in the mirror part and popping out the mirror and adding my sing and fly born ephemera collage, yet mine was in that chippy off white with gold trim.
I wish I had more wall space for some mirrors that I fall in love with, as you have added tons of personality to your home filled with mirrors.
A beautiful weekend my dear.... As the story is told, Mirror mirror on the wall who's the fairest of them all? "Why you are my dear"
See you soon and all you inspire.
Xx
