Christmas Blues

What's It Wednesday #147
This is the time of the year for happiness and joy, it is after all the birth of our Savior. So even though I’m sharing some blues (and whites) I am thrilled that the holidays are here!

It started off fabulously when I found this vintage ceramic tree at my local Salvation Army for $5.00! I was so happy since I’ve watched one for years.

So the blue and white color started my theme. I was able to use the pretty blue ornaments I got a year ago on sale.

I have tons of blue and white dishes so I just popped in a little bit of cheery holly and it says Christmas to me.

All the birdcage needed was a dusting of snow and it's ready too. Do you have the Christmas blues at your home?
Happy Holidays!
Patti

  2. Your blues look beautiful especially the ornaments you found last year! I took ceramic classes in the 70's and made some of those Christmas trees with the lights! I made a frosty white one with blue ornaments for my mother in-law and she still has it. She's always decorated with blue! Thank you for hosting this party!

  10. Oh wow Patti, your Christmas blues photos are beautiful! I love the way you display them in the bird cages. And that cookie jar, I have only ever seen the little spice jars like that-so cute!
I recently bought some blue dishes so I would have some blue on my Independence day table, but that is all the blue I have.
    Have a wonderful week!

  11. I remember making those ceramic trees back in the seventies. A group of a dozen or so ladies would all meet at Margie's Ceramic shop at 7:00 PM on Friday night. Margie would have the TV tuned to Dallas and we would all be either cleaning our greenware or painting our bisque to be fired over the weekend. There was a lot of laughing and camaraderie going on during those lessons, it is a wonder we ever got our projects done. Thank you for hosting ladies! I do have a winter blue tablescape to share. Have a lovely day..... Candy

  59. LOVELY PATTI! Good morning sister in JESUS!

I have never, never seen one of these lit up trees! And the color purple/blue is stunning! You scored on this! And your beautiful home, so lovingly prepared for the celebration of the king's coming, the moment when "...the soul felt its worth."

Thank you precious lady, for coming to visit. You reminded me that I needed to put my name at the end of the final quote, for I wrote it. To think that he came in the rags of human flesh so that we need not go any longer in this temporary state of being...but to live in robes of light. Chilling, thrilling idea and reality!

Peace to you dear one. Anita
