What's It Wednesday #188
Two of my besties joined me for a Fall Lunch Bunch. We all wanted Asian food, so we ordered in from the local Japanese & Thai restaurant and chilled a couple of bottles of wine.
We tend to eat at the kitchen bar when we gather together to catch-up on old times. This year I combined Asian flair with Autumn decor.
The rectangular plates were ideal for the sushi rolls we ordered.
We love to add a fruit salad to every meal. The small bowl was perfect for the fresh strawberries I picked up from the farmers market for the girls. Orange, browns, and mustard accented with silver seems to be the fall colors I chose this year.
The fresh ginger slices will make it's way into this antique mustard pot.
A white pumpkin here and a glass pumpkin there enhanced the feel of Fall.
I couldn't decide which two of our favorite Thai noodle dishes to order, so I ordered both the Thai Noodles with Spicy Peanut Sauce and Pad Thai. Why complicate things?
At the end of our meal we were able to refresh our palate with a mint or two.
I had a blast getting ready for my Fall Lunch Bunch with my two besties. I found the items I used for the lunch at the following places:
White pumpkins - Michaels
Candle Sticks - Gift from a friend (Kirklands)
Rectangular sushi dish -CB2(Crate & Barrel 2)
Place mats - Macy's
Asian bowls - Pottery Barn
Glass pumpkin - Pier 1 Imports
Small fruit bowls - Home Goods
Chopsticks - China Town (San Francisco)
Fall Napkins - Home Goods
Bamboo forks - Pier 1 Imports
Pumpkin candy dish - Home Goods
Wine Glasses - Macy's
Silver Autumn Leaf - Can you guess what that actually is? Well I am not going to even tell ya! But I will tell you this. I was inspired by Nikki of At Home With Nikki Home Decor Shopping Haul. If you want to know what it is and where I got it, please watch her video!
