Vintage Umbrella

What's It Wednesday #44

I really love lacey, romantic Victorian décor. When I find an item that pushes all those buttons, I’m all in!

This beauty has it all, gorgeous original lace with satin lining,

And a special little feature when you open it. Surprise! It’s a lamp! When I spied it in the antique shop, I knew I had to have it! I was pleased that it was produced as a lamp and not an umbrella made into a lamp. I’d never seen anything like it! I was in love.

Imagine my surprise when I was watching one of my favorite shows, “American Pickers”, and they found an umbrella lamp. It was all rusty and missing the shade but they loved it and bought it too.

I'm drawn to the unusual and unique, most times I just follow my heart, and I'm always happy with my finds.
Hugs,
Patti
