What's It Wednesday #119
After seeing so many
great spring wreaths I wanted to make one of my own, something
interesting and unique. I knew the colors and type of flowers that I
wanted, but what for a base?
Would this have caught
your eye? I found this lovely old wicker tackle box at my local
Salvation Army Store. A little worse for wear, but for a mere $3.00,
I felt I could take a chance. It had a leather hook, just perfect for
hanging too.
After a little white
spray paint, and the addition of some pretty spring flowers and
ribbons, it has been transformed!
I love the way it
turned out. Now that I've tackled that problem, I'm ready for the
next project!
Hugs,
Patti

Love that basket, Patti! I think that's a pretty good find for the thrift store. Love the hydrangeas you used in it, too. I've been on a hydrangea kick this year {again}. I got a few new plants, small ones, and just planted them recently. I also just made a hydrangea wreath. Can you have hydrangea overload? : )
ReplyDeleteHi Patti,
ReplyDeleteTY for sharing your idea. I promise, I have almost the same wricker basket.
However, we need to purchase an entrance roof to protect the door and the wreath. GH is too busy with his work abroad, so he don't have time.
I will join your party once we are ready :-)
You are genius Patti.
Happy weekend.
