Chairished Decor

What's It Wednesday #166

One of the Mother's Day gifts I got for my Mom is actually for my house. :-)

My mom said that when she spends the night over she would love for there to be a chair in the Guest Bathroom for her to sit when getting dressed. For the last six months I had been searching for the perfect solution.

As you know, I have been spending quite a bit of time at Ikea. On one of my visits, low and behold what do I see on display? A bamboo chair with a ladder on the back for towels. The RÅGRUND chair with towel rack was the perfect solution.

There is a shelf on the bottom of the chair. I found a basket in my stash and loaded it with fabulous smelling lotions, herbal soaps, moisturizing body wash, plush wash cloths, and an extra roll of toilet paper.

All of the bath products, including the shower cap, for my mom to pamper herself during her visits I found at Marshalls. My mom has already requested one of these chairs for her bathroom at home. I guess I have to make a trip back to Ikea. Ahhh Shucks!

Do you have a bathroom idea that you chairish, I mean cherish?

I LOVE IKEA -- only problem is, I go there for a 'few' things and end up spending hours there and buying more than I planned lol. That chair IS the perfect solution!

Hey Paula, absolutely love that chair. I've used ladders and chairs in the bath but never a ladder chair! Is it a new piece at Ikea? I've never seen it before and I'm a pretty big Ikea fan:)Your mom is a lucky lady!

That's a great idea! My mom used to put a towel on the toilet seat so she could sit on it but this is a nicer idea! I've yet to go to an IKEA store. I know I'd want to buy something there for sure!
